This project is one of the new set of strategic program at Saudi Post which encompasses; mailing addresses project, and post & parcel receiving & delivery to residential and commercial sectors (Wasel service). The execution of this program represents a dramatic change and impressive development in the postal service market place. This will allow Saudi government to realize its ambition by occupying an advanced place in the global postal service market. Success of this significant national project requires a close partnership among the citizens and expatriates (or each person there is an address).
  All these current projects and programs employ the latest technologies to build a strategic infrastructure for Saudi Post. Among the recent innovation, the Saudi Post introduced the smart card which can be attached to the mailbox and linked to the mail network. Through this service and the satellite, subscribers can easily send and receive postal mail from homes and offices.
  The company has been pointed out by the SPC to carry out the establishment of the postal services in the Southern province of the Kingdom. According to the address scheme, the company starts addressing the street and the building and installing the mailboxes in all the cities and the villages of the Southern Province.
